警察によりますと、19日午後3時半ごろ、福岡県筑紫野市で「車が横転して小学生が倒れている」と通報がありました。
According to the police, around 3:30 p.m. on the 19th in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture, a report was received saying, A car has overturned and an elementary school student is lying on the ground.
歩いていた小学生に車が衝突したとみられるということで、いずれも9歳とみられる小学4年生の男子児童4人と、車を運転していた70代の女性の合わせて5人が病院に搬送されたということです。
It is believed that a car collided with elementary school students who were walking, and a total of five people were taken to the hospital: four fourth-grade boys, all believed to be nine years old, and a woman in her seventies who was driving the car.
警察によりますと搬送時いずれも意識はあり、ほかにけがをした人はいないということです。

現場の映像では、踏切近くの道路上に白い軽乗用車が横転していて、道路沿いの店舗のガラスなどが割れているのが確認できます。

現場は、西日本鉄道の「朝倉街道」駅の北にある国道と県道がまじわる交差点で、歩道はなく路側帯が緑色に塗装されているということです。

NHKのヘリコプターが午後5時すぎに上空から撮影した映像では、西鉄の「朝倉街道」駅に隣接する踏切のすぐ近くの路上に、白い車が横転している様子が確認できます。

現場近くの男性 “小学生くらいの男の子 道路外で倒れていた”
現場の近くに住む70代の男性によりますと、現場では小学生くらいの男の子が道路の外で倒れていましたが、数分後に自力で起き上がっていたということです。
