取材でわかりました。
A female police officer in her twenties, belonging to a police station in Nagasaki Prefecture, was referred to prosecutors on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act after it was discovered through interviews with the police that she drove a car at 102 km/h, greatly exceeding the speed limit.
捜査車両が赤色灯をつけて追跡したものの振り切られたということで、調べに対し「追跡には気付かなかった。
The investigation revealed that although the police vehicle pursued with its red light on, the suspect managed to evade them and stated, I didnt notice I was being followed.

書類送検されたのは、県南地区の警察署に所属する20代の女性巡査です。
The person sent to the prosecutor was a female police officer in her twenties belonging to a police station in the southern part of the prefecture.
警察によりますと、ことし2月、休日に県内の実家から長崎市内の自宅に戻るため、市内の国道を最高速度を52キロ上回る時速102キロで車を運転したとして、道路交通法違反の疑いが持たれています。
According to the police, in February of this year, the suspect is suspected of violating the Road Traffic Act by driving a car at 102 kilometers per hour—52 kilometers per hour over the speed limit—on a national highway in the city while returning to their home in Nagasaki City from their family home in the prefecture on a day off.
高速で走る車を捜査車両が見つけ、赤色灯をつけて追跡し、停止を呼びかけたものの振り切られ、その後の捜査でこの巡査が運転していたとわかったということです。
The patrol car spotted a speeding vehicle, turned on its red lights and gave chase, calling for it to stop, but the vehicle got away. Later investigation revealed that it was this police officer who had been driving.
ほかにも、巡査は同じ日に赤信号を無視するなど道路交通法に違反する行為を13件行っていたことが確認されたということです。
It was also confirmed that, on the same day, the police officer committed 13 violations of the Road Traffic Act, such as ignoring red lights.
警察は5月1日、道路交通法違反の疑いで巡査を書類送検するとともに、減給の懲戒処分とし、巡査は依願退職しました。
On May 1, the police referred the officer to prosecutors on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act, imposed a disciplinary pay cut, and the officer resigned at his own request.
警察の調べに対し巡査は「追跡には気付かなかった。
In response to the police investigation, the police officer said, I didnt notice the pursuit.

He reportedly explained, I just wanted to go home and sleep as soon as possible.
長崎県警察本部は今回の事案は公務外の行為だったことなどから処分を公表しなかったとした上で「職務倫理教養を実施し、不適切事案の防止に努めていく」としています。
The Nagasaki Prefectural Police Headquarters stated that they did not make the disciplinary action public because the incident in question was an act outside of official duties, and added, We will conduct training on professional ethics and strive to prevent inappropriate incidents.
