先週金曜日、能登半島地震の被災地を訪問された天皇皇后両陛下。
Last Friday, the Emperor and Empress visited areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
災害対応に負担を掛けないよう、発災から82日目での訪問となりました。
The visit was made 82 days after the disaster, to avoid putting a strain on disaster response efforts.
「屋根とかが水漏れして、床も落ちてしまっているので」
"The roof is leaking and the floor is collapsing."
「おけがとかは大丈夫ですか」
“Is your wound okay?”
「大丈夫です」
"Still fine."
「お二人暮らし、お母様？大変でございましたね。怖い思いをなさいましたでしょう」
"You two are living together, right? It must have been difficult. You must have felt scared."

「一つでも前に進もうと思います。優しく声を掛けていただいたので、そういう気持ちになります」
"I want to move forward, even if only step by step. I feel this way because they were kind enough to talk to me."
