Notes on revoking visas for international students in the US
The Japanese Embassy in the United States recently announced that visas for international students have been increasingly being revoked.
Since April this year, various places have been revoked visas and residency status for Japanese and international students in the United States in other countries.
Some people have been told they must leave the US within 15 days of their visa disappearing.
However, some people have returned their residency due to the trial.
The Japanese Embassy tells international students to check the current situation with the schools they attend and the host institutions.
