A story about chickens that squealed at night
One night, a chicken squealed loudly at Sadazo’s house.
Sadazo was surprised
Because in this town it was believed that if chickens squeal at night, something bad would happen.
And there was a rule that chickens that squealed were washed down into the river.
Sadazo drove the chicken into the river
Torayoshi lived a little further away from the river.
Torayoshi had a strange dream
