気象庁は今日午後2時ごろ、靖国神社にあるソメイヨシノの標本木が数輪咲いているとして、冷たい雨が降るなか、東京のサクラの開花を発表しました。
The Japan Meteorological Agency said that around 2pm today some of the Yoshino cherry trees at Yasukuni Shrine were in full bloom, in the freezing rain, they declared the cherry blossom season in Tokyo had arrived.
去年より7日早く、平年より12日早いサクラシーズンの到来です。
This year's cherry blossom season comes 7 days earlier than last year, 12 days earlier than the annual one.
統計が残る1953年以降、最も早い開花となり、東京が全国トップで咲くのは3年ぶりです。
According to statistics kept from 1953, after 3 years, this year Tokyo has the earliest and most blooming cherry blossom season in the country.
この週末は寒の戻りがありますが、来週後半は再び暖かくなり1週間から10日ほどで見頃を迎えそうです。
It is cold again this weekend, but the half of next week it will be warm again so the cherry flowers will bloom in about 1 week to 10 days.
