防衛省は海上自衛隊のヘリコプター2機と伊豆諸島の鳥島周辺で通信が途絶え、搭乗していた7人が行方不明だと明らかにしました。
The Ministry of National Defense announced that communication between two Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopters was lost near Torishima in the Izu Islands and seven people on board were missing.
「海上自衛隊のSHー60Kの2機が夜間対潜戦の訓練中、伊豆諸島鳥島東の洋上において通信途絶いたしました。当該2機は墜落したものと考えられます」　
“Two SH-60K aircraft of the Maritime Self-Defense Force lost contact in the sea east of Torishima in the Izu Islands during anti-submarine warfare training at night. It is believed that two planes have crashed.”
海上自衛隊によりますと、ヘリ2機は昨日午後10時38分ごろから、相次いで通信が途絶えたということです。　
According to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, communication between the two helicopters was lost one after another from about 10:38 p.m. yesterday.
乗組員8人のうち、7人が行方不明で、救助した1人の安否はまだ分かっていません。　
Of the eight crew members, seven are missing and the safety of one rescued person is not yet known. 　
護衛艦8隻に加え航空機5機などを投入し、捜索活動を行っているということです。
In addition to eight destroyers, five planes and other aircraft were deployed for the search operation.
