In London, Japanese company builds a wooden office building
In London, England, there are many freshly built buildings made of brick and iron.
However, Sumitomo Forestry, a Japanese company, has built a large wooden office building in the heart of London.
This building is called the Paradise Project and is 22 meters tall and has a 6-stories.
There are very few wooden office buildings in London and this is the largest.
When building this building, CO2 emissions were lower by 40% compared to London's building standards.
This is a very good thing for the environment
A company that wants to rent an office, is interested in this building.
On the 8th, there was a completion ceremony, and a member of the Japanese Embassy and the government of the UK participated in it.
In London, there is a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2030.
