Honda has revealed that there are issues with the batteries in their electric motorcycles.
There are more than 19,000 motorcycles facing this problem.
Since the battery components are not being manufactured sufficiently, there is a risk of liquid leakage or fire.
Three fires have occurred, including one involving a post office motorcycle.
Honda announced that it will replace the batteries with a problem-free type free of charge.
Japan Post uses about 23,000 Honda motorcycles.
Of these, motorcycles with problems in about 7,100 batteries will be taken out of service.
Japan Post says, We are currently delivering as usual.
