陸に住むネズミがカエルと仲良しになりましたがこれが運のつきでした

というのもカエルには悪巧みがあったからです

カエルはネズミの足と自分の足をひもで結び付けました
The frog tied the mouse's leg to its own leg
そうして初めは仲良く一緒に畑の麦を食べに行きました

それから沼の岸に近づきました

沼まで来るとカエルはネズミを水の底に引きずり込んで

「ケロ、ケロ、ケ、ケ、ケ」

と歓声を上げながら水浴びをしました
