東京都はオリンピック・パラリンピックの期間中にメディアの取材拠点となったり東京の伝統工芸品を海外にPRしたりする「東京スポーツスクエア」を開設しました。
During the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Tokyo opened "Tokyo Sports Square”, a facility for media coverage and promotion of traditional Tokyo crafts to foreign countries.
「コロナ禍で様々な制約はあるが、だからこそ乗り越えて『スクエア』から発信したい」

東京・千代田区にできた施設には取材の拠点となる「メディアセンター」が設置されます。　
A "media center" will be set up in Chiyoda ward, Tokyo which will serve as the basis for interviews.
これは大会組織委員会が設けた取材拠点とは別で、東京都が開催都市の魅力を世界に発信する狙いがあります。　
This facility is separate from the coverage facility established by the Olympic Organizing Committee, and the purpose is for Tokyo to spread the appeal of the host city to the world.
施設の1階では今日から東京の伝統工芸品などを販売するイベントが開催されます。
From today, an event selling traditional Tokyo crafts will be held on the first floor of the facility.
