「シウマイの街」づくりを進めている栃木県鹿沼市で、2日、シウマイの食べ比べを楽しめるイベントが開かれました。　
An event was held on the 2nd in Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture, where efforts are currently being made to create a "shumai city" where people can enjoy and compare the flavors of shumai.
このイベントは、「かぬまシウマイ」を地元の人たちに知ってもらおうと、鹿沼商工会議所が初めて企画したものです。　
This event was first planned by the Kanuma Chamber of Commerce and Industry to introduce locals to Kanuma Shumai.
横浜名物の「シウマイ」で知られる崎陽軒の初代社長・野並茂吉氏が鹿沼市の出身だったことから、鹿沼市では2020年4月から「シウマイの街」づくりが進められています。　
Since Mr. Mokichi Nonami, the first president of Kiyoken, known for Yokohama's "shumai" specialty, was a native of Kanuma City, Kanuma City has been working to establish a "Shumai Town" since April 2020.
会場にはおよそ10店舗が出店し、蒸したシウマイや油で揚げたシウマイなど、自慢のシウマイが1皿300円で提供されました。　
About 10 stores have opened at this location, offering their signature shumai dishes, including steamed shumai and fried shumai, for 300 yen each.
訪れた人たちは熱々のシウマイを頬張り、それぞれの店の味の違いを楽しんでいました。
Visitors enjoy hot shumai and enjoy the different flavors of each restaurant.
