韓国の尹錫悦大統領は与党が大敗に終わった総選挙の結果に初めて直接言及し、「謙虚に受け止める」と反省を述べました。
South Korean President Yoon Seok-Yeol spoke directly for the first time about the results of the general election, in which the ruling party suffered a heavy defeat, expressing regret and saying: “I humbly accept this.”
「今回の総選挙を通じて、現れた民意を私たちは謙虚に受け止めなければなりません。より低い姿勢と柔軟な態度で、より多く疎通し、民意を傾聴します」
“I must humbly accept the will of the people expressed through this general election. I will communicate with them more and listen to their wishes with a more humble and flexible attitude.”
尹大統領は16日の閣議で総選挙の結果に言及しました。　
President Yoon mentioned the results of the general election at the cabinet meeting on the 16th.
「就任からの2年間、国益のための道を歩んできたが、国民の期待に及ばなかった」と述べ、
“In the two years since I took office, I have followed a path that is in the national interest, but I have not met the expectations of the people,” he said
物価高騰対策や経済再生、また貧困層や若者への支援などについて対応が足りなかったと認めました。　
at the same time, he added that measures such as measures to combat price hikes, economic recovery, and support for the poor and young people are not enough.
10日の総選挙では与党「国民の力」が300議席中108議席にとどまり、尹大統領の責任を問う声が上がっていました。
