山梨県山中湖村では約15万本のポピーが見頃を迎えています。　
About 150,000 poppies are in full bloom in Yamanakako village, Yamanashi prefecture.
富士山を臨む山中湖村の「花の都公園」では、公園入口付近の5000平方メートルの敷地に赤やピンクのポピーの花、約15万本が満開となり、見頃を迎えています。　
At Hana-no-Miyako Park in Yamanakako Village facing Mount Fuji, about 150,000 red and pink poppies are in bloom on the 5,000 square meter site near the park entrance.
春の花として知られるポピーですが、標高約1000メートルにあるこちらの公園では涼しい気候のため、関東近県や山梨県内の平地よりも1カ月ほど遅れて花が咲き、初夏に見頃となります。　
Poppies are known as spring flowers, but due to the cool climate of this park at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, the flowers bloom about a month later than in the plains of the Kanto region and Yamanashi prefecture, and bloom in early summer.
今年は6月の雨の影響で例年より1週間ほど開花が遅れましたが、今月上旬には咲き始め、10日すぎに満開となりました。　
This year, due to the rain in June, the flowering was delayed by about 1 week, but by the beginning of this month, the flowers have started to bloom, 10 days later they will bloom.
花の都公園のポピーは来週いっぱい見頃だということです。
The poppies at Hana-no-Miyako Park will be in full bloom next week.
