また、震度3の揺れを釧路市、帯広市、厚真町、安平町、むかわ町、平取町、新冠町、浦河町、えりも町、新ひだか町、音更町、広尾町、幕別町などで観測しました。

気象庁によりますと震源地は十勝沖で、震源の深さはごく浅く、地震の規模を示すマグニチュードは6。

長周期地震動の「階級1」 観測
2日午前3時52分ごろに起きた北海道の十勝沖を震源とする地震で、北海道の一部では長くゆっくりとした揺れ「長周期地震動」の「階級1」が観測されました。

4つの階級のうち最も小さい「階級1」の揺れを観測したのは、帯広市、苫小牧市、厚真町、浦河町、それに新ひだか町でした。
